It's raining here today. But that's okay because I love the rain.

Thumbing through an old volume of poetry last night, I found this poem named GAME THEORY by Gerald T. Kowitz that I clipped from a magazine many years ago. It makes a great thought for the day.

Competition

If I have a coin
And you have none
If I give you my coin
then you have one
and I have none.

Realization

If I have love

Then you have my store

But I gained more.

I’ll fill those canyons in your soul
Like a river lead you home
And I’ll walk a step behind
In the shadows so you shine
Just ask it will be done
And I will prove my love
Until you’re sure ….

Let me count the ways how I see you
It’s like that lake in the mountain you heard about
It’s like that autumn sky that stays so blue
It’s like that air around me that holds me gently
Whispering strongly that you’re always there, always for me
